• An industry town with about 25% of the workforce working in the forestry sector. We are facing a Pine Beetle epidemic that will severely effect this sector starting in about 5 years. New announcements by two major forestry companies, West Fraser Timber and Ainsworth Lumber, shows the level of commitment to the community as a top forestry community in the north.
• Smack in the middle of the province and is surrounded with countless lakes, rivers, streams mountains, etc. If you love the outdoors, you'll like the surrounding areas of Quesnel.
• Full of wonderful people who love this community and are very proud of it. You can walk down Reid Street (main downtown street) and be assured of bumping into many people you know.
